2014 Confirmation with Pastor in robes bw

Beginnings

Faith is not just any church. We started in 2010 with a new calling from God, and we’ve grown from 90 people crowded into a classroom visioning what a church should be to now 300 people regularly gathering to praise, worship, love, serve, and go out to spread the good news.  FAITH LUTHERAN BUILDING FUND

Friendly Members

As a congregation, we are often complimented on our friendly, welcoming atmosphere. But that doesn’t mean we’re patting ourselves on the back. We take God’s command to love our neighbor to heart. We seek new believers to work with us to bring God’s kingdom to earth.

Activities at Faith

We’re a church unafraid of new ideas. We brought musical guest River to our church. We have had community events, a mission conference, bake sales at the Mall, and sent our members on mission trips to Haiti and other places in need. We sponsor missionaries, and we commit to a significant percentage of our funds to go outside our concrete walls to serve the world. Our children’s Sunday school is joyous and rooted in the Word of God. We are expanding in our commitment to children, youth and families as we seek a full time person to serve the young people in our church and throughout the community. Our middle school/ confirmation youth experience three years of learning, service, fun and fellowship as they mature in faith and make their own decision to follow Jesus when they confirm their faith.

We baptize children and adults and celebrate their first step in work for God’s kingdom. Our worship is enhanced with projections, and with keyboards, drums and worship song leadership teams — they lead on a rotating basis, and we’d love to add your praising voice to the mix! We recently purchased a baby grand piano and electronic keyboard to make our music time sound, we hope, just like heaven. We sing songs rooted in scripture so our worship remains centered on God and the Holy Spirit can work through us.

What to Expect When You Visit

When you come in the door, you will receive a friendly greeting. Feel free to ask any questions of our fellowship team members at the door. Ushers will help you find a seat if you wish. You can grab a donut and coffee before or after worship, and if you’re a little early, we have time for fellowship before and after worship. Christian education starts at 10:30, allowing for service time overrun and leisurely time to gather after worship. We offer Sunday School for ages 3 and up, and we always have an adult bible study during the education hour.

We expect visitors, and we can’t wait to see you. If you can’t worship with us in person, check here to see the previous week’s sermon on the web.
